Deconstructing Shame Flash Collage
This week we are, quite literally, deconstructing the unconscious images of shame we hold within us, while also attuning to the light within you: your Golden Shadow.
The replay of the Live Zoom workshop focuses on your Golden Shadow through a powerful, uplifting journaling exercise and guided meditation:
You're likely carrying energetic armor to protect the delicate, tender, vulnerable spaces within you that are held by shame.
As you dismantle shame, you down this excess effort, this armor.
Your inner sense of who you are — your ego — is essentially a collaged rendering of your past emotions, thoughts, and conditioned experiences.
The ego is a complex construct of your mind.
When you externalize these elements that make up your story — your light as well as your dark amidst the whole beautiful mess — you can create space between your identification with your story and the deeper Self that abides beneath.
Our method is a Flash Collage: a process which externalizes our unconscious and makes it visual...though temporary (hence the "Flash" piece).
Please download the PDF for insight into Shame Resilience (a la Brene Brown: Melissa's 'shero'!) and written instructions on the Collage. As we explain in the 2nd video, you'll need the following materials for this exercise:
