Cooling Yoga for Summer: Pitta-Soothing Practice (40 Min)

Ah, summertime -- longer days, warmer temps...

...and inflamed Pitta nature. 😅

Ayurveda recognizes that everything comprises the same elemental forces: earth, water, fire, air and ether. From this foundation, we each possess a unique combination --

-- for those of us with dominant Pitta doshas (fire +water) this can easily become unbalanced in summer heat. Inflammation, aggravation, 'hot-headedness' -- these are just a few of the symptoms of excess Pitta.

No matter what your dosha, this Cooling Yoga Practice for Summer is designed to help you feel calmer, more centered, and more at peace. (Big thanks to my teacher Larissa Carlson for all the wisdom she's provided over the years, especially in regard to Ayurveda and Pranayama).

This practice also includes Cooling Pranayama. Enjoy!
